The Gift
It's very unlike Matt to actually tell me what he wants for Christmas, his birthday, etc, however this year is different. He turns 27 in April and I already know what he wants. A Shotgun. A Shotgun?? What can I say, he's a guy. How on earth does he think I'm going to go about getting him the type of gun that is cool or that he even likes? Plus, do I have to buy a permit or register it or something? Clueless, that's what I am. Good thing I have a few months until it's due:)

I always have this same problem. Chris want things I am completely incompetent at purchasing. Good luck with that! And I love the pictures.
That's when I would tell him to come with me to pick it out. Steve got a Beneli Nova for his birthday one year, but I was NOT about to pick it out. And yes, I think he has to get it registered in his name when you buy it.
A shot gun... what on earth would he do with that...
ha.. that is funny. just the other week that is exactly what tyler told me too. my response was the exact same as yours. What? How am I supposed to know anything about shotguns? i think he just wants my approval to go and buy it himself. :) The reason why he all of the sudden wants a gun is that a guy came into his brothers apartment (who lives in Michigan)when he was there. His brother grabbed his gun and told the guy to get out. It ended up that the guy accidentally came in thining it was his apartment. His brother was bummed he didn't get to actually USE the gun. Weird and disturbing.
I wish we lived closer to hang out. Come visit! i wish we could visit you but the two kid thing is just a little barrier.
