On April 30th, Matt turned 29! The day of he had to work, so we ended up celebrating on May 1st instead. We had been trying to go out to a German restaurant in Ann Arbor for some time with some other couples in the ward whose husbands also served their missions in Germany, but it never worked out. Luckily, it was perfect timing and we were able to go on Matt's Birthday weekend. I was nervous about the food.......the last braut I had in Vienna was not nice to me.....but was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was here at Metzgers. We had a great time together and talked up all of our European memories.
