For the Fam

Before I had kids this was a typical conversation with my mother over the phone:

Me: Hey, Mom!

Mom: Hey, sweetie, how was your vacation?

Me: Oh it was good! We took lots of pictures- I posted some on my blog you should check them out.

Mom: Your blog? You have a blog?

Me: (sigh) Yes, Mom, I have a blog. We have been over this, remember?

Mom: oh. yeah. hummmm. Ok, yeah, I'll have one of the girls look at it for me.

NOW, now, that I apparantly have meaning in my life (our boys) this is what happens regularly:

Me: Hey, Brooke how's it going?

Brooke: Good. How are the boys? Will you update your blog? Seirously. It's been awhile.

Me: Yes. I will. I'm kind of busy these days you know.

Brooke: Ok, well, do it today. Like, soon. I really want to see pictures of the boys. I need a new screen saver. Hey, David wants to tell you something important.

(pause.....background chatter)

Brooke: Ok, he says to put up new pictures of the boys on your blog. He wants to see them.

Me: I'm on it, people!

(I secretly love all the attention and don't mind it at all!)

So, Dad....I hope that the Chemotherapy goes as well as it can today. Enjoy a little tidbit of the boys! Love you!
