It's a small world

My interpeeps, I'll let you in on a little secret.

I have famous relatives. And those famous relatives have famous friends. Those famous friends do filmed documentaries for worthy causes, WHICH in a round about way relates back to me.

Let me explain.

My unce Bart played professional football for the 49ers back in the day (when they were good). I didn't realize how famous Uncle Bart really was until in high school I was at my friend's house and his picture was on her wall in their game room (three super bowl rings just wasn't proof enough that he was famous). Then I googled his name, Bart Oates, and found pictures of him and his wife with individuals like Kathy Lee Gifford and Tommy Hilfiger.
Famous Uncle Bart!

Anyway, Steve Young narrated a touching true story about a teenager from St. George who was paralyzed from the waist down in a car accident and how he overcame so many obstacles and defied the odds. It's called "Tyler, A real Hero." Since my famous Uncle Bart and famous Steve Young were good buddies (the only two LDS guys on the team), Bart sent us this movie one Christmas. I grew up on 'Tyler, A real Hero'. I can quote it! 'Tyler, A real Hero' holds the same place in my heart as 'Saturday's Warrior's' does for most Latter Day Saints! A treasure!
When Matt and I were engaged, he saw it on the shelf at my parent's house and said, 'Hey, Tyler is my next door neighbor!' Matt and Tyler--the HERO, went to school together, Young Men's, and their parents are next door neighbors! I was totally blown away!
To top it all off, he states, "You know the man who is going to marry us --is Tyler's dad."

UNBELIEVABLE!!!

So there you have it my friends, it's a small, small world after all!
Please post your 'small world' stories, too!

I think I remember 'Tyler the Hero' from seminary. Well geez, it is a small world. Can't say that I have any famous relatives, but I do remember Tyler.
