Here's the skinny on the reads we've discussed so far:
January- "The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands" by Dr. Laura
(this book made for a VERY interesting conversation, highly reccomend it for a book club discussion)
February- "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho
March- "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen
March- "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen
April- "Rebecca" by Daphne DuMauir
May- "My Antonia" by Willa Cather
June- "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" by Betty Smith
And this month's book:July- "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" by Mary Ann Shaffer
I haven't read July's book yet, but I'm sure it's not going to dissappoint.
We need fresh ideas! What books do you read in your book clubs?

Oh, good! I've been needing some new books to read. I've heard the Potato Peel Society one is really good, but I haven't read it yet either.
Here are a few book clubbers: When Zachary Beaver Comes to Town, The Secret Life of Bees (kind of a lot of swearing, though), When Crickets Cry, The Hiding Place, The Last Lecture.
Most people have probably already read a lot of these, but there they are anyway1
Thanks Kath! I knew you'd have some good ones to share!
Can you request a blog? I'm requesting One on the girls camp adventures! Reading is fun and stuff, but come on... show me the Drama!
I always liked Frankenstein. It's a quick, fun read, and a classic.
Angela and the kids say hello. Tom recommends Watership Down.
