Halloween, oh how I love you. I have been planning our costumes since, I kid you not, last Halloween. I have a list in my journal of future family costumes and add to the list whenever it suits my fancy. (thank-you, Pinterest.) As most of my ideas go, I got to to the costumes kind of last minute. The boys were American Astronauts, Lindsey was the planet Saturn, and Matt was the moon. Our little "out of this world" family.
We trick-or-treated to about 10 houses and by the end, the boys got the hang of picking a piece of candy out of the bowl, and waving bye-bye. It was darling.
There were hoards and hoards of kids in our neighborhood!! It being our first Halloween here, we had no idea what to expect. Trick-or-treating goes from 6-8pm here and we ran out of candy way before end time and had to replenish with what we collected from the houses we went trick-or-treating to. Lame.
(oh, and P.S. WHY do kids always ask 'How many?' when they come to the door? Rude! It's always one, kid, unless I tell you otherwise. Maybe if you actually said 'trick-or-treat', I'd think about giving you 2 pieces! Kids these days....)
Don't mind my 'ring' that was falling off and the pillow coming out of my costume. Minor malfunction.
We were also lucky enough to have my parents and Dallas come visit a few weeks ago. It's safe to say that my dad is the boys favorite person.
Loves to the grandparents! We love you!!

Oh, cute costumes! Steve and I are lame-o's and we don't even dress up. I told him we need to have family-themed costumes next year. So I might be coming to you for ideas.
Glad your fam got to come and visit. Those Jolley men make the best grandpas, if I do say so myself!
