The one about the MOVE

It feels like tons has happened since I last blogged, but I am just going post about what we've been up to for the last 2 weeks. WE MOVED! Can I get a 'Woot, Woot!'
Seirously. After 7 years of apartment renting, I for one was more than ready to settle down into our own house. It has been cleaning and unpacking 24/7 around here but it's all good and we're getting settled in. Jake and James love the new place, too. They are on the stairs like white on rice! They can go up in about 12 seconds flat (shorter if there is food at the top) but have not attempted to go down. Yet. Time will tell and I am holding my breath until then.
We made an offer on this house in the dead of winter (Valentine's Day, to be exact), so we didn't know what the yard was going to look like as there was about 3 feet of snow everywhere. We lucked out because we LOVE it! There's a giant Maple tree with ivy growing up the trunk, a slight decline in the backyard, an above ground flower garden, and a landscaped patio area. It has become our favorite part of the whole deal.
Anyway, more pics of the outside front of the house after we paint but for now these are mostly of the move and our new backyard.

James climbed into the drawer and got his head stuck coming out.

Thanks for the shirts, Jess! They wear them all the time!

View from the patio of our new backyard!

Jakey took a spill off the front porch-if you look close you can see the giant scab on his nose:(

Matt mowing our lawn for the first time. He chose a day that was about 95 deg and 100% humidity. His reward was multiple glasses of lemonade.
